Condition of Use

Welcome to the Dash Dynamics Terms and Conditions page. These terms outline the conditions that apply when purchasing products or services from Dash Dynamics Ltd through our website, dashdynamics.co.uk, or through direct communication with our team.

By placing an order with Dash Dynamics Ltd, you confirm that you have read, understood, and accepted these Terms and Conditions without limitation or reservation.

These terms apply to all customers, including both consumers (B2C) and business customers (B2B).

  1. Definitions

For the purposes of these Terms and Conditions:

  • “We”, “Us”, “Our” refers to Dash Dynamics Ltd, registered in the United Kingdom.
  • “You”, “Your” refers to the customer placing an order with us.
  • “Goods” means printed products or other goods supplied by us.
  • “Services” means any design, printing, or related work we provide.
  1. Parties and Application

These Terms and Conditions apply to all sales made by Dash Dynamics Ltd to both consumers (B2C) and businesses (B2B).

  • B2C: You are a consumer if you are an individual purchasing for purposes outside your trade or profession.
  • B2B: You are a business customer if you are purchasing for use in connection with your trade, business, or profession.
  1. Orders & Acceptance
  • All orders must be confirmed in writing or via our online ordering system.
  • We reserve the right to refuse any order at our discretion.

Dash Dynamics Ltd reserves the right to refuse any order at our discretion.

An order becomes accepted only when:

  • Written confirmation has been provided by Dash Dynamics Ltd; or
  • Production or work has commenced.

Once accepted, these Terms and Conditions will form part of the agreement between Dash Dynamics Ltd and the customer.

  1. Proofs & Approval

Where required, Dash Dynamics Ltd may provide digital or physical proofs before production begins.

Customers are responsible for checking and approving all details, including:

  • We will provide digital or physical proofs for approval before printing.
  • Your approval confirms that all content, spelling, colours, and layout are correct.
  • We are not liable for errors approved by you.
  1. Pricing & Payment
  • All prices are in GBP and exclude VAT unless stated otherwise.
  • A deposit of [15%] may be requested before work begins; balance due before delivery unless otherwise agreed.
  • Late payments may incur interest at the statutory rate under the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998.
  • All goods remain the property of Dash Dynamics Ltd until paid for in full.
  • New customers may be requested to pay by pro-forma before work commences.
  • Credit accounts are only available if fully approved by Dash Dynamics Ltd and only after a trading relationship has been established.
  • Credit accounts are strictly 30 days from date of invoice, unless otherwise agreed.
  • All Credit limits will be set by Dash Dynamics Ltd and are strictly applied.
  • Should you fail to meet our terms of payment or exceed your credit limit without approval the WHOLE of your account will become liable for payment in full. Failing to meet our terms may result in the removal of your credit facilities.
  • Dash Dynamics Ltd will use our approved debt recovery agent if your account is overdue more than 60 days with any costs being incurred added to your account and interest applied as allowed by the UK government.
  • All cases of fraud will be reported to the police, and the debt will be immediately passed directly to our debt recovery agent for recovery. All recovery costs and interest charges incurred will be added to cover the recovery of funds and you will be liable for these added charges.
  1. Turnaround & Delivery
  • Estimated completion dates are provided in good faith but are not guaranteed.
  • We are not liable for delays caused by events beyond our control (e.g., supplier issues, courier delays, force majeure).
  • Risk in the goods passes to you upon delivery; ownership passes upon full payment.
  • We are not liable for delays caused by customs clearance. For B2Binternational shipments, we operate under Incoterms® 2020 (DAP) unless otherwise agreed in writing.
  1. Quality and Tolerances
  • Minor variations in colour, finish, or dimensions are inherent in printing processes and will not be considered defects.
  • If goods are defective due to our error, we will, at our discretion, reprint or refund the affected items.
  1. Intellectual Property
  • You confirm you have the right to use all text, images, and designs supplied to us.
  • You indemnify us against any claims of copyright or trademark infringement.
  • We retain the right to display samples of work for promotional purposes, unless you request otherwise in writing.
  1. Artwork and Estimates
  • Dash Dynamics Ltd offer a full design service.
  • Artwork is part of the offer; however artwork costs can quickly ramp up.
  • As far as possible we will advise you of an estimate for artwork charges when requested.
  • Please note: As this can only ever be an estimate and we will inform you should our estimate require revision.
  • Artwork is normally only applied to your first order for that design; further orders will not include this charge unless you require a major change. Small changes may be applied without further artwork costs. This is at the discretion of Dash Dynamics Ltd. You will be informed should a further artwork charge be required prior to commencement of the work.
  • Artwork is charged at £5.00 for each 5-minute period. Small changes may be done for free; however any major change may will incur further artwork costs.
  • Where we are supplied with Artwork from you, we will inspect the quality and may request new and better artwork prior to commencement of work.
  • All artwork supplied by you will be printed as supplied. All production made from your artwork is your responsibility with regards to quality.
  • Dash Dynamics Ltd will produce your goods based on this, unless we have advised of possible issues. All goods produced and shipped will be invoiced and liable for payment.
  • Whilst we normally add any artwork charges to your goods being produced and invoice these on the goods invoice, we reserve the right to request payment for artwork undertaken prior to production.
  1. Price Changes
  • Like most companies Dash Dynamics Ltd are subject to price increases from our suppliers and providers. We reserve the right to increase prices due to external factors on any order.
  • We will inform you of this prior to commencement of any new order which may be affected.
  1. Cancellations & Refunds
  • Orders may be cancelled before production starts; deposits are non-refundable.
  • Any artwork charges incurred by us, prior to cancellation, will still be classed as current, invoiced and require payment in full.
  • Once production has begun, you are liable for the full order value.
  1. Limitation of Liability
  • Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the price paid for the goods or services in question.
  • We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses.
  1. Governing Law and Jurisdictions

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

  • Scotland,  and Northern Ireland: English law applies, but consumers in Scotland  or Northern Ireland may also benefit from mandatory local protections and may bring proceedings in their local courts.
  • EU and ROI: For consumers in the EU/Republic of Ireland, this contract is governed by English law, but this does not deprive you of protection under mandatory provisions of your local law (e.g. the Irish Consumer Rights Act 2022).
  • Rest of the World: For consumers and businesses in the rest of the world all goods will be governed by international sales laws.
  1. Pricing, VAT, and Customs

Dash Dynamics ship under DDU (Delivery Duties Unpaid). This means you will be responsible for any local VAT, Import Duties or other charges according to your country.

These duties are occasionally updated by each commercial area and are detailed below:

  • Isle of Man is treated as part of the UK for VAT purposes.
  • Northern Ireland (NI):
  • B2C: No customs declarations or duties apply for personal use goods.
    • B2B: Goods are “not at risk” if moving under the UK Internal Market Scheme (UKIMS). B2B customers must provide their UKIMS and EORI numbers to avoid EU duties.
  • Republic of Ireland  & EU :
    • B2C: Sales are zero-rated for UK VAT but may be subject to local EU VAT. For orders under €150, we may collect VAT via IOSS.
    • B2B: Sales are zero-rated for UK VAT. The business customer is the “Importer of Record” and is responsible for all local taxes and duties.
    • New for 2026: A fixed €3 customs duty applies to all small parcels (<€150) entering the EU as of July 2026.
  • Rest of World: All duties and taxes are the responsibility of the customer (DDU terms).
  • Note: We operate according to all rules applicable at the date of invoice or shipping. This includes the Windsor framework or any other revised laws.
  • As the bulk of our production is manufactured in the UK and only using UK sourced materials where possible we ship under the preferential tariff scheme as this can avoid import customs tariffs depending on your country. Local VAT and any other local charges will still have to be paid before our carrier can deliver to you.
  1. Returns and Cancellations
  • B2C (UK/EU/ROI/Rest of the World): You have a statutory 14-day right to cancel from the date of receipt.
  • B2B: No automatic right to cancel or return goods once the contract is formed, except for faulty items.
  • Faulty Goods:

Note: You must return (at your cost) any items for which you require a refund within 14 days of delivery.

We must be informed you are sending any items back prior to shipping.

We will give you a returns number which MUST be stated in any communications and the return itself.

All bespoke items cannot be returned for a refund, unless faulty.

Any items returned may incur a re-stocking charge of up to 50%.

Should any stock item be returned in a different condition to when delivered we reserve the right to refuse a refund.

Refunds are only issued after inspection at our premises.

The accepted methods of payment are as follows:

The selection of any content, images, logos, or designs submitted for production, along with obtaining any necessary permissions for their use and reproduction, remains the sole responsibility of the customer. Dash Dynamics Ltd does not verify ownership, copyright permissions, or third-party rights relating to customer-supplied materials, except where required to confirm that artwork meets the necessary technical specifications and production requirements.

Dash Dynamics Ltd accepts no responsibility for the unauthorised use of images, designs, or content provided by customers, or for any breach of third-party intellectual property rights. By submitting artwork or materials, the customer agrees to indemnify and hold Dash Dynamics Ltd harmless against any claims, losses, damages, or liabilities arising from copyright infringement, trademark infringement, or any other misuse of protected content.

Dash Dynamics Ltd reserves the right to refuse, suspend, or cancel any order where supplied content breaches intellectual property rights, contains unlawful or inappropriate material, or is considered defamatory, offensive, or contrary to applicable laws and standards.

Dash Dynamics Ltd cannot be held responsible for fraudulent or illegal use of payment methods by third parties, including credit cards, debit cards, cheques, or other payment methods, where reasonable precautions and appropriate security measures have been taken. We also accept no liability for delays, interruptions, or failures caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including force majeure events.

Certain products designed and supplied by Dash Dynamics Ltd include worldwide protected designs and registered intellectual property. Any unauthorised copying, reproduction, modification, or manufacture of these products is strictly prohibited without prior written permission. Where infringement occurs, Dash Dynamics Ltd reserves the right to take legal action and seek recovery for associated costs, including legal fees, damages, loss of profits, and any related financial losses.

For any disputes relating to the interpretation or execution of an online contract, the parties agree that the exclusive jurisdiction will be the courts of Preston, United Kingdom, regardless of the location where the contract was entered into or the customer’s place of residence.

Dispute management

For all disputes relating to the interpretation and/or execution of any online contract, the parties acknowledge the exclusive jurisdiction of Preston Court, irrespective of the place of conclusion of the contract and the domicile of the user.
